This morning Ty had a good time lounging on the floor in his bathrobe and slippers.
He also discovered the joy of Play-Doh!
Tonight he decided he wanted to draw like Deedah.

Zac -- 11/13/09
Zac is home again!
After a day filled with "House"-like tests that all came back clear, Zac was discharged from Innovis and sent over to Prairie St. John's to speak with counsellor about his diagnosis of severe anxiety. PSJ sent him home with the instructions to make an appointment ASAP to meet with a psychiatrist here in Fergus to try and figure out a good balance of anxiety meds to get everything under control. We will have to go back to Innovis on Monday to get a portable heart monitor that Zac will wear for a month just to stay on the cautious side. The fainting is still occuring, the anxiety attacks are still occuring, and he still has a headache...but no twitching so far today!

Zac --11/12/09
This morning, after fainting in the bedroom (but coming around on his own right away) and getting a copy of Zac's chart from LRH, we took off for Innovis in Fargo. Zac passed out in the vehicle twice on the way up and once right after getting into a room in the ER, he sometimes has some double vision, and his twitching comes and goes. His blood panal and EKG were, once again, normal, however, his heartrate went from the 60's while laying down to the 130's while standing up...this is different then his first trip to the ER. He fainted one other time in the ER before the doctor admitted him into a observation unit. On the way to the unit he had a bit of an anxiety attack and he fainted immediately when moving from the ER stretcher to his hospital bed...but his heart monitor didn't show any change. His hands were also tingling for awhile. He does have a nasal canula for oxygen and was given some Xanex to try and calm his anxiety. No further testing was done today, and we aren't sure what tests are going to be done tomorrow...we just know that there will be some. All for now...will update tomorrow night.

Zac -- 11/11/09
This morning we all got up and ready to Zac to the chiropractor for a work injury to his back that happened 3 weeks ago. Zac went to wait for me to get Ty's shoes on at the dining room table and when I came out he was "passed out" on the chair, laying on the table.
The chiropractor, as well as the doctors, said that the issues he's having shouldn't have anything to do with his back.
Zac took a long nap today and was a bit difficult to wake up...but when he woke up his twitching was gone! He didn't take his 8:30 installment of Adavan for the twitching and it hasn't come back...hopefully it won't!
The doctor that saw him yesterday diagnosed him with the fainting spells (for lack of something more fitting) but said that if it was that they'd only last 48 hours. Well, after the 48 hour mark Zac "passed out" again and went face first down my parents' stairs to be found by my dad walking in the back door. Aside from a headache and bump on his head from it hitting the wall and a sore leg, he is okay.
Let me clarify the "passing out" or "fainting". When someone passes out or faints they stop breathing until they come around and start breathing again. Zac doesn't stop breathing and he doesn't come around until someone shakes him a bit. It appears as if he's sleeping deeply.
Tomorrow I am taking Zac to Fargo to hopefully see a neurologist. I will update tomorrow night.

Hospital -- 11/10/09
NOTE: Last night Zac did NOT have an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound), he had an EKG.
Today Zac had three tests, he started out the day with an echocardiogram, followed by an EEG (test measuring brain waves), and rounded it all off with an MRI of his brain. All tests came back normal.
So...we are back at home and we still don't know anything. For lack of a completely fitting diagnosis the doctor diagnosed him with a big fancy term that basically means he has fainting spells...however, they should only last for two days. His twitching hasn't gone away but he has been prescribed medicine to help with it. If things aren't back to normal within a few days we will go back to see a doctor and go from there. His doctor felt terrible that he couldn't tell us anything, but, its just one of those things I guess!
